The Royal Navy has experienced rapid technological change over the second half of the 20th century. Equipment and machinery in all areas has improved and become increasingly more sophisticated. This has led to many changes in the living and working conditions of officers and sailors.
The People and Changing Technology recording project has collected interviews with naval personnel who have worked through this period of technological change.
