Dockyard: Then and Now

Dockyard: Then and Now was an exciting project which helped bring the Dockyard to life using object handling, site visits and IT resources. You can find out more about the project and see what the children from Stamshaw Junior School created by visiting the Dockyard: Then and Now project pages.

A new schools workshop came out of this project which has taken some of the most successful elements of the sessions run with Stamshaw School.

The Dockyard: Then and Now workshop lasts for 2 hours and offers a stimulating, cross curricular approach to a study of a local area which would link in with QCA History Unit 18 What was it like to live here in the past.

Please visit the Learning pages on the main Royal Naval Museum website to find out more about the workshop.
