The career of a Wren who served abroad

Margaret Hodgson served in the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS) during World War Two and was part of the first draft of Wrens to serve overseas. After the War Margaret continued to serve in the WRNS when the Admiralty made the service permanent in 1947.
