The Pacific Campaign
Naval aircraft attacks Japanese airfields, harbours and coastal shipping in 1944
The war in the Far East was a long and bitterly fought campaign in which the Royal Navy played a major part. The Fleet Air Arm operated in a leading role for the British Pacific Fleet (BPF) and made a significant contribution to the Allied air operations against the Japanese.
