How did the Fleet Airm Arm prevent German ships from moving freely around Northern Europe?
Naval aircraft attacked German ships in the North Sea and the Channel. The aim was to prevent German vessels moving freely to and from Germany and from conducting attacks on Allied merchant shipping.
