Presentation of the Kings Colour

In 1951 Princess Elizabeth presented the new Kings Colour at Malta on Thursday 5th April. Captain Robertson was Captain (Air) Mediterrnean kept an album of photographs of the event.

The Kings Colour (currently the Queens Colour) is a special White Ensign embodying the Royal Cypher, presented by the Sovereign to the Home ports and to commands afloat or abroad.
