'And then sort of one day, I think it was a Friday, we'd just been out water skiing sort of mid morning. And I came back in the house, I was still in my wet suit, dripping wet and there was this great buddy of me holding up the phone saying, "Ways it's for you". I thought "uh oh here we go" and I knew exactly what was happening, who it was going to be. And it was our navigator at the time, a guy called Rupert Williams and he said, "Hi Ways, having good leave" and I said, "yes thanks what do you want". He was saying "Guess what? We're going" and I said, "yeah I guessed as much!".'
