Invergordon Mutiny Oral History Transcripts
John Russell remembers his experiences of the Invergordon Mutiny
Transcript: "I spent 12 months on HMS Hood during which time I was involved in the mutiny at Invergordon in 1931. With our Captain at that time being superseded by another, we clued up with Admiral Tomlinson. We used to call him ‘the old grey mare’. He had grey hairs hanging out of his ears."
