John Russell describes the cause of the Invergordon Mutiny

Transcript: "At Invergordon there was a great political debate going on because the men, the seamen, had been docked a shilling a day from their pay. The consequence of which was that they were up in arms. Meetings were held in Invergordon sports ground. We, the Royal Marines, were detailed to protect the officers."
