Invergordon Mutiny Oral History Transcripts

Commander Edgar Warren describes the relationship between the officers and ratings on board ship

Transcript: "Interviewer: What was the relationship between the lower deck and the wardroom like on ships in those days? Was it generally harmonious?
Warren: I think from my own personal experience, I must say it varied with each ship, was that some ships were very happy whereas there was in other ships, I’m sure, a certain amount of resentment to the conditions and what was going on in the ship and much of that depended on the Executive Officers on the ship."
