St Patrick’s Barracks, c.1949. (RMM)

These were built post World War Two and it is believed that the Royal Artillery were the first to occupy them.

When the Royal Marines occupied them in 1952 building work was still taking place.

The break up of the Malta Garrison commenced in 1971/72 when the British handed St Patrick's Barracks over to the Armed Forces of Malta.
