Experimental anti-submarine station

During World War One HMS Dolphin became Britain’s first experimental anti-submarine station. The station introduced two highly trained sealions called Queenie and Billikins. Trained to find and then circle enemy U boats, the sealions uttered loud cries until Royal Navy submarines arrived.
