The Korean War
Forming 41 (Independent) Commando
In August 1950 the Admiralty formed 41 (Independent) Commando in support of US troops in South Korea. The Commando carried out demolition raids and offensives against the Communist armies of North Korea and China.
The Commando worked closely with the United States Marine Corps (USMC), forging closer bonds with their American counterparts.
